Pamplona

The fascinating city is situated in the heart of Navarra and is known by most people for its testosterone-fueled festivities called Sanfermines, where bulls run through the ancient streets of Pamplona. The capital of Navarra is very popular among Pilgrims who are doing the “Camino de Santiago” - way of St. James and offers a great number of beautiful locations worth visiting.

Also in terms of economy Pamplona is worth mentioning. The once rural town has developed to a medium-sized city with a wide range of industry and service companies. Even large and renowned corporations like Volkswagen have chosen to manufacture their Polo model in the region and generated a large number of jobs. But also other economic sectors like building materials, metalworking, food processing or renewable energy are growing more and more.
